A masterclass titled 'Rethinking the Cuban Standards', a workshop on performance mastery in Latin jazz, led by Dr. Andy Nevala, pianist and director of the jazz programme at Jacksonville State University (USA), together with his quartet. Students explore mambo, Afro-Cuban rhythms in 12/8, danzón and bossa nova, and join the quartet in playing several pieces.
