## About

In the trenches of the First World War, two young Belgian soldiers find support and tenderness in each other as they fight to survive in a harsh reality. Lukas Dhont's film explores the line between fear and courage and asks whether fleeing the front is weakness or self-assertion. It was in the official competition at Cannes 2026.
