## About

A biographical historical drama directed by Antonin Baudry (France, 2026), Part One — "The Time of Resistance" — starring Simon Abkarian, Simon Russell Beale, Florian Lesort and Nils Schneider. June 1940: after France's capitulation, an almost unknown general refuses to accept defeat and leaves for London, determined to continue the fight. Fighters, students and Resistance soldiers gradually rally around him, their courage and thirst for freedom changing the course of history and giving hope to a seemingly lost cause. Screened as a special, out-of-competition selection at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
