## About

The classic tale of beautiful Belle, who sacrifices her freedom to save her father and moves into the enchanted castle of the Beast, where she gradually discovers the kind heart behind his frightening appearance. Jean Cocteau's film (France, 1946) is one of the greatest masterpieces of world cinema, turning this timeless story into a visual feast. It was part of the official competition at Cannes in 1946.
