## About

“Trash” is the debut play by Elena Telbis, winner of the “Slavka Slavova” competition for contemporary Bulgarian drama, staged by director Ivaylo Hristov at Theatre 199. It stars Svetlana Yancheva, Anastasia Lyutova and Vesela Babinova as three women bound together by their mother, whose departure leaves behind childhood objects and feelings that can never be recovered. The production won the 2021 Askeer Award for Best Production and the 2021 Icarus Award for Best Show.
