## About

A sixteen-episode documentary series (UK, 2026) by renowned film critic and director Mark Cousins, creator of "The Story of Film: An Odyssey." It traces the history, evolution and social impact of documentary cinema — from its origins to modern digital forms — including iconic film scenes from Asia, Africa, India, the Middle East and Latin America alongside European and North American work. A special screening at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
