## About

The Second Liberation is a Bulgarian documentary (2021, 59 minutes) directed by Svetoslav Ovtcharov and produced by Omega Films and Front Film. Using chronicles and documents, many of them never published before, the film examines the Soviet occupation of Bulgaria from 1944 to 1947, arguing that this period caused the largest political, financial and moral crisis in modern Bulgarian history.
