## About

During World War II, young Polish engineer Jan Bojarski takes refuge in France and forges documents for the occupied country. After the war, his lack of legal status keeps him from patenting his inventions, and his life stays precarious. Everything changes the day a gangster offers to put his exceptional skill to use — drawing him into a double life hidden from his family, while Inspector Mathieu, one of France's top police officers, starts closing in on him.
