ACT FEST 2026: The Story of a Passion

"A Story of Passion" is an immersive flamenco-theatre performance inspired by Cervantes' "Don Quixote," in which Spanish flamenco virtuoso Carlos Otero and Bulgarian actress and Ikar Award winner Asia Ivanova attempt to bring Don Quixote and Sancho Panza to life through flamenco dance. Directed by Elena Panayotova, with original music by composer Nikolay Ivanov (whose credits include scores for more than 55 films), the show blends live singing, dance and theatre in an unconventional adaptation full of humor, passion and unexpected twists, presented as part of ACT FEST 2026.
