Mischief

An Italian drama by director Mario Martone, based on the novel by Domenico Starnone, starring Toni Servillo. An elderly illustrator in Naples unexpectedly finds himself caring for his four-year-old grandson, and the child's seemingly innocent mischief stirs up painful memories of ageing, family bonds and creative stagnation. An ironic yet unsettling parable about the clash between generations, screened as part of the CineLibri film-and-literature festival.
