"The Puppets Remember"

An exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of the Sofia Puppet Theatre, part of the autumn edition of the "Art Salon" festival. It brings together puppets, characters and stage figures from significant productions across the theatre's history — an encounter between generations of creators, performers and audiences over the decades. The exhibition reveals the dual nature of puppet theatre: the visible magic of an animated puppet and the hidden work of the artists, directors and craftspeople behind it, showing how a puppet can "receive a soul" and a piece of fabric can become a hero.
