Autumn Wave Fest

On 10.10 and 11.10, Sofia will be swept up in the sound of Autumn Wave Fest — a festival bringing Night in Athens and Lust For Youth to Bulgaria for the first time. This autumn, Club Pavé hosts two of the most important names on the contemporary wave scene, cementing the festival as a must for every fan of dark wave, cold wave and synth pop. Night in Athens (Tina Boleti) is a London-based artist known for her 'raw punk-synth energy and dark wave atmosphere', blending intimate and cinematic soundscapes with theatrical intensity. Lust For Youth is a Danish-Swedish duo offering a 'danceable and nostalgic sound' across synth-pop, cold wave and electronic melancholia. They're joined by Bulgarian and regional acts: The Silence Inside (a post-electronic project influenced by Orbital and The Chemical Brothers), BAC (a Sofia post-punk/wave duo), low-key (a Plovdiv act merging post-punk, shoegaze, psychedelia and stoner rock) and Evitceles (a Bulgarian electronic producer with experience at European festivals). The festival also includes the 'Autumn Wave' exhibition, featuring 15 works by eight artists, extending its atmosphere into visual art.
