Tested on Humans

"Tested on Humans" is an experimental bilingual (Bulgarian-Romanian) performance written by Maya Pelevich and directed by Petar Denchev, featuring Borche Manev, Dana Pancu, Ivan Kaloshev, Mihaela Mihai, Radu Anastas, Sergei Ştefănescu, Yana Bobeva and Yana Bozhanin. Audiences become witnesses and potential participants in a world where people are observed, evaluated and subjected to procedures, as the piece asks where care ends and control begins, and how easily submission can pass for personal choice. The production offers no ready answers, inviting viewers to puzzle out the enigma themselves.
