Lady Macbeth or 7 Ways to Kill Someone

“Lady Macbeth, or 7 Ways to Kill Someone” is a production by Theatre 199, conceived and adapted by Georg Zheno and Anastasia Tarkhanova, directed by Georg Zheno, with text by Georgi Tenev inspired by Shakespeare's “Macbeth.” The cast includes Boryana Yovcheva, Ovanes Torosyan, Milko Yovchev and Zhivko Dzhuranov. The story follows Bogdan, an unnoticed stagehand, as he passes through seven productions of “Macbeth” in seven Bulgarian theatres across seven different eras, while the actors and directors around him are driven by a hunger for power, love and artistic ambition.
