The Magic Flute

The Magic Flute is Mozart's opera in two acts, staged at the Sofia Opera in a version specially adapted for children. The story is condensed and fast-paced, told with humor and atmosphere, and the main characters come to life through the opera's most famous arias and ensemble numbers. At its heart is the clash between good and evil, and the themes of friendship and love, and the production radiates joy, light and optimism — a wonderful introduction to opera for young audiences.
