The Emperor's New Clothes

A children's theatre production by the Satirical Theatre "Aleko Konstantinov," adapted by Yevgeny Schwartz from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales and directed by Biserka Kolevska. A beautiful princess falls in love with a swineherd — unacceptable by royal etiquette — but the resourceful hero outwits the hypocritical court, proving that true love triumphs over false convention. A colourful, funny, romantic fairy tale with a happy ending that invites audiences to stay sincere and never lose their inner child.
