Cat Game

Cat's Game is a production by the Small City Theatre “Zad Kanala,” based on a play by the Hungarian playwright István Örkény, directed by Desislava Shpatova and starring Svetlana Yancheva, Snezhina Petrova, Hristina Karaivanova, Hristina Dzhurova and Svezhen Mladenov. At the centre of the story is an elderly widow caught in an endless, sharp-witted dispute with everyone around her, including a sister who lives hundreds of kilometres away. With humour and absurd scenes, the play raises the question of a person's need to be needed by someone.
