The Alchemy of Time

A solo exhibition by contemporary Bulgarian painter Ralitsa Stoitseva, presented in partnership with Gallery 33 as part of NDK's autumn Art Salon. The exhibition brings together 10 monumental canvases united around the themes of infinity, the natural elements, and the artist's personal emotional world. Her work blends surrealism, expressionism, and spiritual abstraction, and her signature technique involves inlaying copper onto canvas — metal fragments she processes herself on a graphic press, adding a distinctive tactile texture and reflective quality. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Stoitseva has held over 20 solo exhibitions, with works in collections including the National Art Gallery and private collections in Bulgaria, France, Germany and the US.
