Perfect Strangers

Family friends from the countryside come to visit their friends in Paris after being invited to spend the holiday together, but the hosts try to sabotage the visit with a string of lies that only get them more tangled up. The comedy, a Bulgarian adaptation of a play by French playwright Jean-Pierre Martinez, asks how far a "white lie" can go before a guest becomes an intruder — with no heroes or villains, only people desperately trying to look "perfect" in front of others. Directed by Nikolay Gunderov, it delivers situational humor in the style of a classic comedy of errors.
