Villagers of Ioannina City

VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, hailed as Greek visionaries of heavy rock, bring their ambitious new album "Venceremos" to Sofia, blending heavy rock and progressive metal with folk and Hellenic motifs, epic guitars and multi-layered traditional instruments. The record explores themes of exile, resistance and awakening set in a dystopian future through ritualistic rhythms and large-scale arrangements. They are joined by fellow Athens act DEAF RADIO, an alternative and stoner rock group known for heavy fuzz riffs, infectious groove and atmospheric depth reminiscent of Queens of the Stone Age.
