A Place Called Elsewhere

Two neighbours separated by a wall but united by heartbreak — Denis, a former TV host, and Mia, a young actress — carry on a witty yet tender dialogue about intimacy, courage and forgiveness. Written by Yana Borissova and directed by Dimitar Kotsev-Shosho, the play presents both the male and female perspective on the same experience, balancing comedy with melancholy. This intimate two-hander, starring Boryana Bratoeva and Petar Antonov, won the 2023 Ikar and Askeer awards.
