Operation Cinema Sofia | 2026 – TITINA in Bankya

A screening at a school in Bankya as part of "Operation Cinema" (Sofia Film Festival on the Road) — Art Fest/Sofia Film Fest's touring programme that for over 18 years has brought European and Bulgarian cinema to small and medium-sized Bulgarian towns, including educational modules in animation for children. The film shown is "Titina" (Norway/Belgium, 2022), an animated feature told from the point of view of Titina, a real dog rescued from Rome's back alleys and taken aboard the airship Norge by engineer Umberto Nobile on his 1926 expedition to the North Pole. Inspired by true events, the film is made to work on different levels so it is enjoyable for both children and adults.
