Voice

"Voice" is a solo performance based on a text by Elena Aleksieva, in which actress Antoaneta Dobreva ("Neti") plays Victoria Glass — an understudy to the celebrated opera diva Maria Callas. The play explores the inner world of a performer torn between admiration for and rivalry with her famous counterpart, tracing a journey from silence into song, from shadow into light. It is directed by Prof. Ivaylo Hristov, with set and costume design by Marina Yaneva and music by Dobrin Vekilov ("Doni"). The performance runs for about 90 minutes and is recommended for audiences aged 10 and up.
