We, the Brass Band

A play inspired by Yordan Radichkov, directed by Petrinel Gochev — a guest performance by the Rhodope Drama Theatre of Smolyan. The action grows out of "mad grass," a drum, and the peculiar world of Bulgaria's Northwest: colorful eccentrics, sharp-tongued women, farm animals, and an unruly drum come together in a vivid, lively stage picture.
