Tempers (US)

Tempers is the project of New York-based singer-songwriter Jasmine Golestaneh, blending low-lit poetic synth-pop with hints of techno, shoegaze and post-punk. Their debut album Services (2015) included the underground dance track 'Strange Harvest', followed by Private Life (2019) and New Meaning (2022) on Dais Records; Golestaneh also collaborated with architect Rem Koolhaas on the concept album Junkspace (2018). Their most recent album, Delusion, was co-produced with Jorge Elbrecht and features collaborations with visual artists. Tempers has performed at festivals including Levitation, Substance, Hipnosis, Synästhesie and Grauzone, and played headline shows at venues such as the Andy Warhol Museum and the ICA.
