Kaspar: Songs of Suchness

A concert adaptation exploring themes from Peter Handke's revolutionary 1967 play 'Kaspar'. The artists present 'an existential distillate of the Kaspar phenomenon' — examining the story of an abandoned child used as a societal experiment, described as 'the kidnapped child, the tabula rasa experiment of society, the fabricated human, the manipulated individual'. The work investigates fundamental questions: 'Is there consciousness? Is there a way out?' — through voice, body and music, deepening the exploration of Handke's themes of human consciousness, social conditioning and individual agency.
