Cold War

"Cold War" (2018) is director Pawel Pawlikowski's dramatic love story, partly inspired by the life of his own parents - a couple who separate and reunite against the backdrop of 1950s communist Poland. The film brought Pawlikowski more than 50 international awards and three Oscar nominations. The screening is part of the Cinelibri 2026 film festival's tribute to the director, who will be present in Sofia in person; a conversation with the audience follows the film.
