A Never Ending Story

A restaging of "A Never Ending Story" (from the 1997 original "What a Fool She Is with the Cuckoo Feather") by choreographer Galina Borissova — a self-described "mutant choreographer" with more than 50 productions staged across Europe and the US, known for conceptually provocative, detail-driven and witty work. Performed by Nelli Georgieva, Silvia Cherneva and Daniel Karnes, the piece builds an intimate atmosphere out of old hit songs and even a funeral march, following three performers making their way "through half a tunnel" amid panicked relationships and mismatched duets. The reconstruction is part of the "DanceMap" research project.
