Fest10.11: Workshop "Socialist Gourmet"

Amid the abundance of cookbooks and recipe videos, family recipe notebooks seem to have become relics — yet they preserve stories about food, about women, and about life under communism. This workshop focuses on recipes made with milk, discussing the myths around access to food and its quality and variety; participants are invited to look through their own family recipe books and bring a milk-based recipe to spark the conversation about the past. It is led by historian and writer Dr. Albena Shkodrova and CoKitchen founder Yana Petrova.
