Viva Offenbach - Premiere

A musical spectacle by Alexander Mutafchiyski built around the life and music of Jacques Offenbach — not a biography told through dates, but a witty show in which Offenbach himself becomes a character guiding the audience through 19th-century Paris. It features arias and ensembles from Orpheus in the Underworld, La Belle Hélène, La Vie Parisienne, The Tales of Hoffmann, La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein and Le Voyage dans la Lune. Conductor: Ognyan Mitonov, with soloists, chorus, ballet and orchestra of the National Music Theatre. The premiere opens the 2026/2027 season.
