Sensation of the Day – The Brilliant Ones

An original theatrical production by Dramedy Theatre, inspired by Raymond Queneau's "Exercises in Style," conceived, written and directed by Tsveta Baliyska. The show opens with the question "What happens when an ordinary incident becomes the day's biggest news?" and explores how media manipulation and misinformation work. Through multiple competing perspectives, it shows how social media turns trivial incidents into sensations, while genuinely meaningful achievements — Olympic victories, humane gestures — go unnoticed in an "ocean of absurdities, conflicts and scandals." The cast of 16 includes Anna Nedyalkova and Bela Kicheva.
