Fishing with the Wives

Fishing is a "man's activity" — or so men claim, as they enthusiastically pack their gear and disappear for several days... out of reach. But what happens when the women join in? "Fishing with the Women," the new original play by the Break a Leg theatre house, plunges the audience into a series of funny and completely unexpected situations during a fishing tournament at the Dospat dam. There we meet Mitko, Maya, Niki and Vanya, who draw us into a battle not only with the fish and the insects, but above all with each other. Beneath the surface lie more than a few "sunken" secrets, and the characters will face important life choices that will decide the future of their friendship and family relationships. Starring: Alexander Sano, Sofia Marinkova, Robert Yanakiev, Alexandra Sarchadzhieva. Author: Angel Kalev; director: Martin Karov.
