Cinderella

A children's ballet fairy tale set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, based on Charles Perrault's story. In this staging every character is essentially good — even the two stepsisters are mischievous rather than wicked — and the conflict grows only out of the stepmother's ambition. Cinderella wins the prince's heart and the tale ends happily, so young audiences can enjoy it confident that good always triumphs.
