About the venue
Vitosha Stadium is located in the village of Bistritsa, at the foot of Mount Vitosha (administratively part of Sofia's Pancharevo district). It is the home ground of FC Vitosha (Bistritsa) — an amateur club founded in 1958, nicknamed "The Tigers." After a 2020 reform of the men's team, the club now focuses mainly on youth football, while the stadium continues to host official matches.
