Славянска беседа

"Slavyanska Beseda" is a historic cultural society and building in central Sofia, founded in 1880 as the oldest chitalishte (community cultural center) in the city. The current building, at the corner of Rakovski and Slavyanska streets, was built in 1935 and once housed a hotel, a theatre hall, and the society itself. Today its chamber stage is run by the Salza i Smyah Theatre and hosts chamber performances.
