Kinomania 40: A concert by the "Vladigerov Brothers Trio"

A concert by the "Vladigerov Brothers Trio," performing live music to a silent film, marking the first press-documented jazz event in Bulgaria — a 1926 concert in Ruse. Alexander (trumpet) and Konstantin (piano) Vladigerov, grandsons of composer Pancho Vladigerov, who once accompanied silent films in Berlin, together with drummer Stoil Ivanov "Styu," perform real-time improvised music blending jazz, swing, Bulgarian folklore, Balkan rhythms and classical influences, inspired by the images and action on screen. An evening in which history returns to the big screen.
