Petya Pavlovich Festival

The first edition of the Petya Pavlovich Festival opens with a concert in memory of conductor, pedagogue and innovator Petya Pavlovich (born in Kazanlak in 1939), a figure of Bulgaria's “golden school” of choral art. Organised by the Petya Pavlovich Association to keep her memory alive and support Bulgarian choral art, the concert brings together the Sofia Chamber Choir “Vasil Arnaudov” under conductor Prof. Dr. Teodora Pavlovich, the Academic Choir “Sveta Paraskeva” of the National Academy of Art, and a combined festival choir “Petya Pavlovich”, performing works by Mozart and Petko Stayanov. The evening is hosted by Teodor Sofroniev.
