Melodius Fonk

Melodius Fonk is a new Bulgarian supergroup formed by drummer Borislav Petrov, bridging the jazz of Thelonious Monk and the groove of James Brown. Its line-up brings together bassist Radoslav Slavchev ("Riverman"), guitarists Miroslav Ivanov and Alexander Logozarov, and saxophonist Alexandre Merancienne, for a sound the band calls hypnotically danceable and full of a spirit of freedom and adventure.
