The Djem Case

A staging of Vera Mutafchieva's novel in Yuri Dachev's stage adaptation, directed by Bina Harampieva. Set in the 15th century, the story of Prince Cem shows that cruelty, political manipulation and the mockery of justice are nothing new, and that strong men are tragically mistaken in believing they can change the world with their good ideas. The cast includes Hristo Pudev, Kalin Vrachanski, Leonid Yovchev, Vasilena Atanasova and Bogdan Buhalov. Running time: 2 hours.
