Kinomania 40: Invisible in a Box

A science-fiction drama by Hirokazu Kore-eda (Japan, 2026) starring Haruka Ayase and Daigo Yamamoto, in the official competition at Cannes 2026. In the near future, a couple devastated by the loss of their son take a humanoid robot with the looks and voice of their dead child into their home.
