Everybody Is Involved

This tragicomedy unfolds in a bakery — an unexpectedly dramatic setting. At its center is Toni Roca, a charismatic and provocative baker. Three strangers arrive to knead bread, only to find themselves drawn into something far bigger than cooking. As the dough rises, hidden fears, desires and motives surface between them, and the act of kneading bread becomes a metaphor for the human need for meaning, belonging and faith. Based on a Catalan play by Cristina Clemente and Marc Angelet (translated by Neva Micheva), staged here for the first time on a Bulgarian stage under director Vladislav Stoimenov. On stage: Silvia Petkova, Maya Tinkova, Martin Rakov and Alexander Evgeniev.
