Autumn Sonata

A production based on motifs from Ingmar Bergman, revealing the hidden layers in a mother-daughter relationship. It explores the inner tension hidden behind an apparent calm — passion, pain and anger beneath the surface of equilibrium. The production draws parallels with classical tragedy, with elements recalling Medea and Electra, presenting the human striving for mercy less as atonement than as a spiritual longing for enlightenment.
