The Life Before You

A Theatre 199 "Valentin Stoychev" production of Romain Gary's novel (written under the pseudonym Émile Ajar) "The Life Ahead of You," directed by Katya Petrova. In the poor Paris district of Belleville, the elderly Madame Rosa looks after a houseful of children of every race and religion — among them Momo, as uneducated and defiant as he is clever and magnetic. The production finds inimitable humour, friendship and tolerance in the least expected places.
