The New Dance Hall

The New Dance Hall is the first Bulgarian staging of a play by Irish playwright Enda Walsh, translated by Zlatina Kostova, directed by Ivaylo Hristov, with music by Anton Donchev. Three women, shut inside a small house by the bleak Irish sea, keep replaying one long-past night at the town's dance hall — an impossible love that has become their only reality — until a comic fish delivery man bursts into their kitchen with fresh island gossip.
