Every Brilliant Thing

Performed by Milko Yovchev and directed by Boyana Yovcheva, from a text by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahue, this solo show follows a boy who, while his mother is in hospital after a suicide attempt, sets out to make her happy by compiling a list of wonderful things in life — a list that keeps growing over the years. The performance runs through the full range of emotions and sends the audience home smiling, with plenty of reasons to appreciate being alive.
