Screams from the Underground

A stage adaptation of Dostoevsky's Notes from the Underground, directed by Stoyan Radev and performed by actor Yordan Rasin. The production favours raw, felt experience over intellectual analysis — here truth 'screams with pain' rather than unfolding as philosophical debate. At its centre is the Underground Man's radical self-examination and his revolt against the social order, set against the figure of the 'last man', who seeks comfort over meaning and avoids suffering and risk.
