The Last Free Place on Earth

An interactive production by Toni Karabashev, performed in Bulgarian with English surtitles. An absurd comedy with documentary elements, inspired by stories and interviews with residents of Kresna and nearby villages affected by the construction of the Struma motorway. It asks what "progress" costs and what happens to small communities and their traditions.
